I received an error message that read "social security number invalid/you have an active application." What does this mean?

This means you may have a duplicate application on file with us.  If you are a previously approved volunteer/employee you cannot submit a new order until you are within 30 days of the expiration date.  The expiration date is listed on your volunteer card (if provided) and in the approval email originally sent out to you.


If you are sure you shouldn't have a duplicate application, you may try refreshing your page, or clearing your cache and cookies.  In most browsers you can do this by pressing CTRL + Shift + Del.
