Why was this record reported on my background check?

The FCRA has guidelines as to what is reportable on a Consumer Report. Various states have their own laws as to what can be included on a Consumer Report. Bchex follows FCRA reporting guidelines, followed by state guidelines.  For more information, please refer to the Fair Credit Reporting Act.  If you find that any information was reported inaccurately, you may file a dispute directly with Bchex.
