Can I Dispute Information Found on My Background Check?

If you believe that information on your background check report is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to dispute it. There are two ways to submit a dispute:


  • Option 1: Online Dispute Resolution Center The quickest way to submit a dispute is through our online portal:  Online Dispute Resolution Center
  • Option 2: Email If you prefer to dispute your report directly with a Dispute Resolution Partner, you may contact us by email at: dispute@bchex.io

What Happens After I Submit a Dispute? Once your dispute has been submitted, our team will review the information in question. If the disputed information is verified to be inaccurate, your updated report will be resubmitted to the organization for their review.
