Every time a new background check is ordered, a disclaimer is sent out to the subject of the report. We are required to notify all applicants that we are performing a background check, and we may be reporting criminal or other public record information about you, if it exists. This does not mean we will find any reportable information.
The full results of your background check will be available to you once complete. The results can be viewed in the Applicant Portal.
The disclaimer sent out is listed below and is the same for each background check order:
The purpose of this message is to notify you that Background Investigation Bureau, LLC (BIB),
a consumer reporting agency, is reporting criminal or other public
record information that may contain adverse information about you to COMPANY.
This notice is not an indication of COMPANY's decision regarding your order status. Your order is still being processed.
A BIB representative can address any questions or concerns you have regarding the contents of your report as soon as it is complete.
