Placing a Managed Service Order
- On the Left Navigation panel, choose Orders > New Managed Service Order.
- Depending on your account settings, you may not see all the options shown here.
Create a New Managed Service Order
- Fill in all information requested. The Driver’s License and state are required for any DOT order.
- The Employee Position and Other Information are both optional.
- To the best of your ability, choose an expected clinic visit date. This will not affect the applicant’s actual appointment date. Our system will start alerting the applicant regarding an update to their order when this date passes and the order is still open.
- Choose the appropriate reason for the service.
- Choose the Job Type first, then the available options will appear.
- Once you have chosen the services you need, click Choose Providers to be shown a list of clinics to choose from.
- You may also update the ZIP code if a facility is needed in a different area.
Complete Order
- Once you have selected a clinic, the clinic information will be shown.
- You can choose to add a note to the order. The note will only be viewable internally by those in your organization that have access to Aegis.
- Choose Save and Email Donor to complete the order.
- If you do not want the applicant to be given the information regarding the service you order, as in the case of a Random test, or a Reasonable Suspicion, use your own email address in the order, and the confirmation information will be sent to you.
- When placing a drug test order, you must always choose Save and Email Donor. The other option, Save and Print Auth Form will not provide the necessary information for the clinic to perform the drug screen.
- Only use this option if you are told to use it.
