How do I make a policy management decision in Aegis?

If your account uses Policy Management, you’ll need to record a decision once a background check is complete.

  1. Open the background check report.

  2. At the top of the report, choose whether the applicant “Meets” or “Does Not Meet” your guidelines.

  3. Click Change to save your decision.

Only Administrative users can make decisions.
Decisions must be made within 90 days of report completion. After 90 days, the option will no longer be available.



If you make a mistake and need to change the decision, please reach out to our Client Services department who can reset the order to a "Needs Decision" status.  clientservices@bchex.io.
