Password Expiration
Aegis user passwords are valid for 90 days. 5 days prior to your password expiring you'll receive a reminder to create a new password:
Another reminder will go out 24 hours prior to expiration:
If you allow your password to expire before updating it, you'll see the following message. You won't be able to log back in until a new password is set:
Forgot Password?
If you get locked out of the account, click the Reset Password? option on the log in page:
You can use your email address or username to reset your password, however, if you have multiple accounts, you'll need to use your username so our system will be able to determine which account you are unlocking. Your email address could be associated with multiple accounts.
If you enter your email address and it turns that your email address is used in more than one account, you will see the following error message:
In this case, please try entering your username instead of your email address.
The next screen will appear asking for 6 digit code, or PIN, which will be emailed to you:
Here's what you can expect the email to look like and say. The email should arrive within a couple minutes.
Go ahead and enter the code, then click Next:
Now you can choose a new password:
Change Password
If you'd like to update your password, you don't have to wait for it to expire, you can do so at anytime.
Once logged in to Aegis, in the upper right corner, click your name, then click “My Account”
Scroll down to the Change Your Password option
