What does the status mean on a drug test order in Aegis?

Modified on Mon, 29 Apr at 4:06 PM

•Depending on the service, you may see different types of statuses.

•For Drug Screening, you may see any of the following:

•Ordered - the test has been ordered, but no result is available yet

•Negative - test result is negative for the substances tested

•Neg-Dilute - test result is negative, however, the donor consumed a large quantity of liquid prior to the drug test

•Positive - test result is positive for at least one of the substances tested

•Pos-Dilute - the test result is positive, and the donor consumed a large quantity of liquid prior to the drug test

•Non-Contact Positive - after receiving the results, the medical review office attempted to reach out to the donor for an explanation as to why the results were non-negative, but did not receive a response from the donor

•Refusal To Test - donor refused to provide a sample, or donor did not follow clinic protocol

Test Cancelled - this could be multiple reasons, such as leaked sample, mismatched chain of custody etc.  Please contact  clientservices@bib.com if you need more information on why a test is cancelled if it is not listed in the result.
